Experience the Sea of Salento Aboard Pharus

A wonderful excursion aboard the Pharus Experience Boat, the flagship of the fleet: the largest, most comfortable and most modern vessel, with capacity for 28 passengers in addition to the Captain and Crew Member.

Departure is from the Tourist Harbour of Torre San Giovanni, in the marina of Ugento, one of the area’s most renowned destinations, known for its beaches, turquoise crystal-clear sea and historic lighthouse, which inspired the name Pharus.

Three stops, three stories of Salento, and all the time you need to enjoy the sea.

Devil’s Bay

The name recalls an ancient legend linked to the ships of Pyrrhus and the mighty elephants that local people, having never seen them before, called “Devils.”

Isla of Pazze

From Latin Insula Pacis, the Island of Peace. We will cruise along its coastline and admire its spectacular seabed.

The Secche di Ugento

The famous “Blue Oases”, once known as Mare, Horse and Foal because of the shapes sculpted by the wind and sea.

Swimming stops are planned at all three locations in the beautiful crystal-clear sea, weather and sea conditions permitting. On the return journey to the harbour, we will cruise along the sandy beaches and unspoilt natural coastline of the area.

During the tour, the flagship serves delicious aperitifs featuring traditional products from Salento. The experience is available in the morning from 9:00 am to 13:00 and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00.
